Silent Zone Blu Ray Review (Well Go USA)

Silent Zone is a 2025 zombie film produced and directed by Peter Deak (Rush and Banned Music). It was written by associate producers Viktor Csák (Rush) and Krisztián Illés (People of the Darkness). In a cruel world overrun by the crazed undead, a resourceful teen Abigail (played by: Luca Papp from Dune: Prophecy and FBI: International) and her fierce protector Cassius (played by: Matt Devere from Spy, Robin Hood, River Wild, The Witcher, Halo, Hercules, and Season of the Witch) navigate a brutal landscape where survival is almost never guaranteed. As they fight against relentless hordes and other ruthless survivors, every situation could mean either life or death. Bound by loyalty and the fading hope of a safe haven. They finally push forward after facing so many impossible odds. The greatest threat may not be the undead, it may be the darkness that survival awakens within them!!!! Silent Zone is your typical zombie and survival feature. A man feels responsible for a stranded teenager so they decide to work together during this deadly apocalypse. They have been on the run for awhile looking for something safe but it hasn’t happened yet. They decide to help and save a married couple with a baby on the way but this could make everything so much more complicated. Luca Papp as Abigail is the younger survivor that has the skills to fly a plane thanks to her father. She’s the brains from the duo and she has more compassion which helps them out in the long run. She manages to get out of every bad spot while trying to get away from these hungry blood thirsty monsters. Matt Devere as Cassius is the muscle and he’s more experienced at this so he knows what to expect next before it even happens. The rest of the supporting cast includes Nikolett Barabas (A Good Day to Die Hard), Declan Hannigan (Moon Knight), Alexis Latham (Robin Hood), Katia Bokor (Don’t Breathe), and Roderick Hill (Kraven the Hunter). Silent Zone delivers on all kinds of action and violence. It has some solid gore at times and the zombies look great here. The special fx artists definitely elevated this independent production. It has a good flow and pace to it. It doesn’t really drag at all. We have all seen this similar film before and honestly it’s been done way better than this so many other times. Don’t get me wrong, Silent Zone isn’t bad at all. That’s not what I’m saying with this. It’s just average and nothing special when it comes this sub-genre. It’s definitely still worth checking out especially if you are into zombie and survival type of films but keep your expectations low for it. Let’s discuss this high definition presentation from Well Go USA! This 1080p (2.39:1) transfer looks really good considering it’s budget. They were smart with all their departments because it honestly looks like a much larger production than what it is. It has a few different audio options which includes has English: DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 and English: DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0 tracks on the disc. The audio is very impressive especially during all the zombie insanity and it’s violent action scenes. All of the dialogue is crystal clear, the madness is elevated, and the music has a killer boost to it. It has English SDH subtitles. The only extras on this home video release is a “Trailer” for Silent Zone & various Well Go USA related “Trailers”. It’s a professionally made on demand BD-R.
