Necrosluts Blu Ray Review (Gatorblade Films/The Sleaze Box)
NecroSluts is a horror film directed by Angel Martin (Actress Apocalypse, Reconciled, Dangerous People, & Franklin: A Symphony of Pain) & Sebastian Kult (Hi-8 & Hi-Death). It was also written & produced by Sebastian Kult. This movie has been “apparently” lost & unreleased for around 20 years! It’s so rare & unknown that it’s not even listed on IMDB. It’s never been put out on VHS, DVD, or any other format until now. It’s a limited edition release from The Sleaze Box & GatorBlade Films, only available on blu ray. From the title alone, I am already beyond interested in this. You get trailers from The Sleaze Box & GatorBlade Films before the feature. It includes Death-Scort Service Part 2: The Naked Dead, Chaos A.D., Truth or Dare 5, & Amerikan Holokaust so you already kinda get an idea what you are getting into with this!!!!
It opens with the title Volume 1: Coathanger Lust. Sky is being interviewed after all these years. She sent them a video with some unbelievable footage. She has changed her name & hidden her identity. She talks about her boyfriend not wanting her to have his baby. They were on every drug possible. She was suggested to get an abortion. She was already high at the time so she gets a coat hanger to perform the request. She starts masturbating with it while being filmed. She starts bleeding really bad after playing around for awhile. It doesn’t bother Sky at all. She is getting off on it on every bad feeling. She licks her own blood & plays with it all over her body. She said she got married to that same boyfriend & now he wants kids after all of this! Sky’s boyfriend was mad at first since he didn’t know she was doing this right away but he gets turned on & decides to join her while their friend kept on filming all of this. He’s underneath her as she bleeds all over him. They start sucking & eating on the fetus, it tastes like chicken according to Sky. They end up using the fetus while messing around in a bathtub.
NecroSluts only runs for 47 minutes so it can be viewed pretty quick. I honestly don’t think it could have been any longer for what it is, it’s short running time fits the concept of this flick. It has a worn VHS & Grindhouse look to it which adds to the charm of this. I watch lots of fucked up movies & this one actually kinda made me feel a little dirty plus slightly unconformable. For most people that would be considered an insult but from me that’s a huge compliment. It only features two characters & actors (Sky O’Blivion & Rex Renn) plus a voice (Denny Hamilton) doing the in between interviews for this. The other crew members listed along with the cast have no credits anywhere else so I want to say this is a slick production & “gimmick” to give the feel of a lost film from the 80s that was recently made. I could be completely wrong about that, maybe none of them worked ever again in movies. Either way it definitely looks & feels like it’s from that era. It falls in that rare “Abortploitation” sub genre & it’s recommended for anyone into gory no budget films. The only other extra on this limited edition BD-R release from The Sleaze Box & GatorBlade Films is the NecroSluts trailer. It also includes a booklet & sticker. FUNNY FACT about this archive review, it was the reason I got rejected for Avengers: Infinity War. I was told Disney & Avengers were a family film so it couldn’t be reviewed right next to something like this. HAHA This was a Limited Edition release, it’s now sold out & no longer available.
