Batman: The Long Halloween Part Two Blu Ray Review (Warner Bros)

Batman: The Long Halloween Part Two is a 2021 direct to video animated superhero film directed by Chris Palmer. It’s a direct sequel to Batman: The Long Halloween Part One from earlier that year. It features the voice talents of Jensen Ackles, Josh Duhamel, Troy Baker, Billy Burke, David Dastmalchian, Katee Sackhoff, Fred Tatasciore, Robin Atkin Downes, and John DiMaggio. The killer known as Holiday continues to stalk the Falcone crime family while a new class of costumed criminal rises in Gotham City. Batman suspects that a former ally might be the serial killer.

This was a great follow up to the first one. I would love to see them combine them both into one huge epic movie sometime. The Long Halloween has so many great characters from the Batman universe in it. I really respect that these direct to video DC Comics adaptations don’t hold back and they are much darker than their live action material. These animated features are more for the hardcore comic book fans rather than the mainstream and they stay true to their original source material for the most part. I wish they would do live action versions of these sometime also with no watering down. Harvey Dent fans will appreciate this one, I was very impressed with everything here. It has top notch animation, cast, and the script keeps you on your toes. RECOMMENDED!!!!
